Ai Design taps Todd Henderson as new General Manager

TUCKAHOE, New York, April 3, 2023 – Ai Design, a premier automotive customization and personalization studio, continues their ongoing expansion with the hiring of industry veteran Todd Henderson as General Manager. Henderson brings a wealth of experience in sales, engineering, and management from a diverse range of leading automotive companies ranging from prestige automakers to world-class aftermarket companies. Henderson will report directly to Ai Design founder Matthew Figliola.

As Ai Design’s business has seen unprecedented growth in the last five years, Henderson will play a key role managing an expanding staff of skilled technicians. Henderson steps into the role with a solid understanding of the company’s ethos and operations gained during his eight-year stint as Ai Design’s Director of Sales and Marketing from 2008-2016. 

Prior to joining Ai Design, Henderson had leadership positions with storied aftermarket brands including Mercedes tuner RENNtech and renowned importer CEC, where he worked with leading European tuning firms Brabus, TechArt, and AC Schnitzer.  Henderson also founded HEICO SPORTIV North America, a firm created to import and distribute HEICO’s high performance Volvo products, working directly with Volvo Car Corporation and Volvo Cars, NA. In 2001, Aston Martin of New England tapped Henderson to be their Director of Operations, helping to transform their Service, Parts and Body Shop departments.

In addition to his management skills, Henderson also brings an impressive level of expertise in 3D modeling, 3D scanning and reverse engineering, allowing him to seamlessly mesh with Ai’s cutting-edge design processes. Henderson’s diverse skillset, proven management experience, and vast automotive knowledge will be an impressive asset to the Ai Design team.
